I am back today with a review of the Hayabusa Marvel Gloves. Hayabusa is their special edition Marvel series. In this review, I will unbox these gloves and give you my first impressions.

I got the box here and the packaging is solid. I think I might need a proper knife to open it. Okay, here we go! They gave me a few color options and I chose certain ones. I went for the red and black variety, the 16 oz gloves, and as you can see it’s part of the Marvel Hero Elite series by Hayabusa.

First Impressions

You can immediately see the Marvel branding, Deadpool’s face on the back of the glove. There is a nice ridge on the back of the hand, which may provide additional wrist support, although this may just be a stylistic feature.

The leather feels amazing. It’s soft, high-quality leather that you don’t always find in boxing gloves in this price range. The sides have a different material, possibly soft matte leather, which adds a unique feel to the glove. It’s not quite suede, but it’s definitely a nice touch.

Design and Features

The gloves come with a certificate of authenticity and the wrist strap features a Deadpool belt design, complete with logo. Pretty cool if you ask me. The gloves have some good elasticity on the inside, which makes them comfortable even for large hands.

These are 16 oz gloves, and they are quite large for my small hands. I imagine they’d fit perfectly for someone with larger hands, but I’m curious to see how they feel once I strap them on.

One of the first things I noticed was the foam padding – it felt extremely dense and cushiony. You want this when you’re punching, as it provides a great punching surface that flattens out nicely over time, which helps reduce the risk of injury.

Comfort

Let’s talk about the fit. Although I haven’t strapped on the gloves yet, they feel snug – especially for a 16oz glove. Ventilation holes will help keep your hands cool, which is a big plus for long training sessions. And the grip bar inside feels great. It is thick and allows you to make a tight fist, which is essential for proper punching technique.

The gloves also come with Hayabusa’s signature double-strap system. This is not your typical Velcro closure. There is a secondary strap that really locks your wrist, providing optimal support to prevent injuries.

Fit

Hayabusa gloves fit, firm, comfortable and durable for training or sparring. Dual-strapped, therefore providing good protection to your wrists. Suede interior makes it comfortable but absorbs sweat; So it is better to use deodorizer.

Quality

If you are into boxing these gloves are what you need Excellent wrist support, very comfortable. Durability is promising, fits snuggly out of the box. Much better than my old pair of Everlast gloves. Heavier bags put less stress on your wrists during workouts.
